Grief, Loss & Bereavement Counselling

Compassionate, Individualised Support Through Grief and Loss

Grief and loss can affect every part of life, often in ways that feel overwhelming or difficult to explain. At Repploy Counselling & ASD Services, we provide compassionate, professional support for individuals, young people, and families navigating loss at their own pace.

Our counselling offers a safe and respectful space to process grief, make sense of complex emotions, and find ways to move forward while honouring what has been lost.

Our Approach:

Our approach to grief and bereavement counselling is grounded in empathy, respect, and individual experience. We recognise that grief does not follow a linear process and that everyone responds to loss differently.

Support may include:

  • Individual counselling focused on emotional processing and adjustment
  • Space to explore memories, meaning, and ongoing connection
  • Practical strategies to manage daily functioning during periods of grief
  • Ongoing support as circumstances and needs change over time

Counselling is tailored to each person and does not replace medical, psychiatric, or crisis services where these are required.

Who can benefit from these services?

This service is suitable for anyone experiencing grief or loss, including the death of a loved one, anticipatory grief, relationship loss, or significant life changes. Support is tailored to adults, young people, and families, depending on individual needs and circumstances.

How will the sessions be tailored to my needs?

Counselling is guided by your unique experience of loss. Your therapist will work collaboratively with you to understand what support feels most helpful, recognising that grief does not follow a fixed timeline or process. Sessions adapt as your needs change over time.

Is grief counselling the same as mental health treatment?

No. Grief and bereavement counselling provides emotional support and guidance. It does not replace medical care, psychiatric treatment, or crisis services where these are required.
